Registered Contestants
Contest: Win prizes for correctly predicting the outcome of the games during the 2015 Arimaa World Championship finals.
Prizes: In each game the spectator who correctly predicts the winning player and comes closest to predicting the number of moves for the game will win the prize for that game. In case of ties the spectator who submitted the prediction earlier will win the prize. Predictions must be submitted before the scheduled start time of the game. The prize for each game will be determined by dividing the Prize Fund for the Spectator Contest by the number of games in the tournament.
When: Participants will be notified by email when they can enter predictions. Predictions must be submitted before the scheduled start time of the game. In case of ties the spectator who submitted the perdiction earlier will win the prize.
Where: The contest participants will submit their predictions through the Internet using a web form.
Registration: Spectators must register before the deadline so they can be notified of when to make the predictions. This date may be changed depending on when the finals start, so register early to aviod missing the deadline. There is a registration fee of $10 USD which is added to the prize fund in addition to supporting contributions. If you find out later that you are unable to participate, you can unregister before the registration deadline and the registration fee will be refunded.
Note: Players may also register to predict. However players will not be allowed to predict or win a prize on their own games.
