Bomb
I picked it because it alliterates with Bot, and because it I expected it to be strong tactically and weak strategically, like a bomb. I didn't put a lot of thought into it.

Clueless
A description of its style of play.
GnoBot
GnoBot combines the root from gnosis meaning to know and is filled out with bot to rhyme with robot. [2]
Loc
The name is derived from location because of the way moves are generated from piece locations [3]
OpFor
The name comes from a military abreviation for Opposing Force
Zombie
I had/have envisioned writing a bot that uses neural networks heavily in the static evaluator, and planned to call it bot_Brain or bot_Cortex. Zombie, being a fork of bot_Fairy, isn't that bot.
Thus, bot_Zombie is the bot without a brain...
