First Impressions
After a two week break we're back for MOAR with the Arimaa World League Sequel!
Will the Ring of Fire triumph again? Or will it be a battle to the end like last time around? Only one way to find out...
Rosters Announcement Update
So far this promises to be a worthy successor to the first League.
The Euro Army will fire their first shots across the bows of the stalwart Atlantics. Meanwhile a David-and-Goliath battle awaits the Ring of Fire as the Rockies field a sterling squad. But the story of the League has always been one of twists and turns, setbacks and comebacks...
On Friday the honour of the first match of the season will go to freshman speek and veteran Heyckie.
Then on Saturday, Table 1 of the Atlantics-Europa match will feature the wise old man of Arimaa against PMertens, who at the moment is training as hard as he can! Immediately afterward rozencrantz will make his debut against Hirocon in the first Ringers-Rockies clash.
Sunday will determine the outcome of the Atlantics-Europa match as Table 2 is played. And on Monday, master and padawan from the Rockies will cross tusks with their opposite numbers from the Ring of Fire.
Come into the chatroom and let's fire up the League spirit!
Post-Match Analysis
Even a well-earned victory from veteran omar couldn't save the Atlantics, as Europa steamed into first place getting an impressive bang for their buck. (Shurely "euro"? Ed)
Meanwhile the Rockies got the result they were surely hoping for from their hefty spend, although the Ringers put up a good fight. Just wait until *they* get fired up.
